A pillar of our EBCnet will be a bi-annual European B Cell (EBCnet) Forum. The first EBCnet Forum was organized in 2018 in Landshut (Germany) by Idit Shachar (Israel), Rita Carsetti (Italy), Hans-Martin Jäck, (Germany), Agnes Giniewski (Germany) and Anja Glanz (Germany). More than 81 group leaders from 15 European countries have registered for this 1st EBCnet Forum, and 56 abstracts for lectures have been submitted (38 were selected for oral presentations). At this first meeting, each participating country had the opportunity to give an overview of its B cell research.
The unique selling point of the bi-annual European B-cell forums is that speakers are solely selected on submitted abstracts (no invited speakers) and that all participants, including the selected speakers, cover all travel and accommodation costs.
The oral presentations will be selected by the local organizers, the current EBCnet speakers and the EBCnet advisory board consisting of one representative from the participating countries representatives (see About us)
