The European

B cell network

Who we are.

The EBCNet gathers around 300 principal investigators working in the field of B cell immunology from 22 European and affiliated countries

Together with the EBCNet chairs, country representatives act as contact points for fostering interactions between members.

The wish of many B-cell immunologists from Europe for a B cell research platform was the impetus to initiate this European network. In 2017, a B cell-centered European Research Study Group was approved by the European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS). The European B cell network or EBCNet was born and since then it has been dedicated to bringing together B cell scientists from all over Europe.

Our main goals are to foster interactions between European B-cell researchers and to promote young researchers in the field of B-cell immunology

To achieve our vision, we:

o   Connect members via our website and annual forums/schools

o   Gather and disseminate information relevant to the B cell field

o   Share resources and exchange ideas or techniques

o   Train young people to become experts in B cell immunology through our B cell schools

o   Foster new collaborations through student exchange and joint projects

Our vision.
